Scholarships & Financial Aid
APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP:
Please note that most scholarships cover a portion, not all course tuition. You must be complete the Core Skills Training BEFORE applying for a scholarship)
To apply, you will need to send us an email to info@integrativetrauma.org with the subject “Scholarship Application.” Please include the following details:
Your approximate yearly income (in US dollars)
A short letter (1 page) detailing the following:
Your financial need and how receiving this scholarship would impact your ability to participate.
How you plan to use the skills you gain in the training. Please share how they will impact:
How you will use them in your current practice and/or
How you will incorporate the skills you gain into your long-term career goals
A letter of recommendation from a client, colleague, or mentor (required for Service Scholarship applications, optional for all other applications but highly recommended)
Service Scholarship Only: If you are applying as a nonprofit or work in an educational institution, proof of employment.
Service Scholarship
A scholarship for individuals who work and/or volunteer in established non-profit organizations, education, or other organized forms of community outreach. Applicants are dedicated to supporting communities who have faced systemic inequities, who have been historically marginalized or are underrepresented. Recipients of this scholarship are dedicated public servants who provide low-cost or free sessions to clients or are engaged in research related to our work.
Note: Applicants for the Service Scholarship are required to submit a Letter of Recommendation from a professional supervisor, mentor, or colleague. Personal references will not be accepted. If you are applying as a nonprofit professional or educator, please provide proof of employment.
Black, Indigenous, People of Color Scholarship
A scholarship for individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color, with the goal of increasing diversity in healing professions and advancing trauma-informed care strategies to remedy racialized and generational trauma.
Accessibility Scholarship
A scholarship for individuals who identify as neurodivergent and/or disabled and/or live with chronic health conditions, with the goal of increasing diversity in healing professions and advancing trauma-informed care for individuals with accessibility needs and experiences with ableism.
Special Circumstances Scholarship
A scholarship for individuals experiencing significant financial hardship or life circumstances that would prevent them from registering.
